Position Summary
The Specialist, Marketing provides day-to-day support for NACHC’s marketing, graphic design, and website activities. Working under the direction of the Deputy Director, Marketing, the Specialist assists in the development, production, coordination, and delivery of marketing materials, digital content, website updates, email communications, and basic graphic design assets that support NACHC programs, events, products, services, and organizational initiatives.
This position serves as a shared resource across the Marketing team, providing foundational support to marketing outreach, creative production, and digital communications. The Specialist works closely with the entire Marketing team (email outreach, graphic design and website performance) and other team members to ensure projects are completed accurately, efficiently, on brand, and on schedule.
The position is ideal for an individual interested in developing broad experience across marketing communications, graphic design, website management, and digital engagement within a mission-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Support development and execution of marketing campaigns and promotional activities
- Assist with implementation of multichannel marketing campaigns for NACHC programs, products, events, services, and initiatives.
- Help prepare and format marketing content for email, website, digital advertising, social media, print, and other channels.
- Assist with audience segmentation, list preparation, and basic campaign deployment as directed.
- Help monitor campaign performance and compile basic reports on engagement, reach, website traffic, email activity, and other marketing metrics.
- Provide basic graphic design and creative production support
- Create and update basic marketing and communications materials using established NACHC templates and brand standards.
- Assist with development of presentation graphics, social media graphics, digital ads, flyers, signage, email graphics, event materials, and other routine creative assets.
- Make routine edits to existing design files under the direction of the Manager, Graphic Design.
- Ensure assigned materials follow NACHC brand guidelines and established design standards.
- Provide website content and maintenance support
- Assist with routine content updates to NACHC websites using WordPress and other content management tools.
- Build and update basic webpages using approved layouts, templates, and content standards.
- Review webpages for broken links, outdated content, formatting issues, image quality, and other basic maintenance needs.
- Escalate technical website issues to the Manager, Website or appropriate team member.
- Support email marketing and digital communications
- Assist with building, formatting, testing, and scheduling email communications using established templates.
- Conduct quality assurance checks for links, formatting, rendering, spelling, and content accuracy prior to deployment.
- Assist with maintenance of email templates and basic audience lists.
- Help track basic email performance metrics such as opens, clicks, and engagement.
- Assist with marketing project coordination and workflow management
- Track assigned marketing, design, and website projects through established project management systems.
- Help ensure project requests contain required information, content, deadlines, approvals, and supporting materials.
- Support coordination among Marketing, Graphic Design, Website, Communications, Events, and internal program teams.
- Identify potential delays or missing information and escalate issues to the Deputy Director, Marketing or appropriate manager.
- Support NACHC brand consistency and asset management
- Follow NACHC brand and visual identity standards in all assigned work.
- Help maintain and organize approved templates, logos, graphics, photography, brand files, and marketing resources.
- Assist staff with locating approved brand assets and templates.
- Support marketing analytics, reporting, and continuous improvement
- Compile basic data from email, website, digital marketing, and project management platforms.
- Assist with preparation of recurring marketing dashboards, reports, and performance summaries.
- Support testing and evaluation of marketing content, templates, subject lines, graphics, webpages, and other materials.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Web Communications, Business, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in marketing, communications, graphic design, website content management, digital media, or a related field (relevant internships and professional portfolio work may be considered).
- Working knowledge of marketing and communications principles and an interest in developing skills across multiple marketing disciplines.
- Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with layout, typography, imagery, and brand consistency.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread and qualitycheck content, graphics, webpages, and digital communications.
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
- Ability to follow established processes, templates, brand standards, and technical instructions.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and receive and incorporate feedback.
- Ability to learn new software, platforms, technologies, and processes quickly.
- Strong customer service orientation, initiative, professionalism, and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment with changing priorities.

- 10% travel to NACHC conferences and events
Key Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite products (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel especially)
- Basic experience using Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign preferred)
- Basic understanding of web content practices, including links, image optimization, accessibility, SEO, and page formatting.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms and digital communications tools preferred.
- Familiarity with website content management systems (WordPress preferred)
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms.
- Familiarity with project management platforms (e.g. Asana or similar system preferred)
- Familiarity with web and email analytics tools preferred.
