Position Title: Senior Full Stack Java Developer
Location: Mclean, VA - onsite
Primary Skills: Java EJB, WebLogic, Java Server Faces (JSF), Oracle SOA
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand project requirements.
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and efficient Java-based web applications.
- Develop and maintain front-end components using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Vue.js).
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
- Ensure the responsiveness and performance of applications across multiple devices and platforms.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Perform code reviews to maintain code quality and promote best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements and enhancements.
- SOA Development a Plus
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 8+ years demonstrated experience with software development.
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong focus on Java.
- Proficiency in front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Strong knowledge of Java frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Hibernate).
- Familiarity with database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
- Understanding of RESTful API design and development.
- Design and development experience in building and monitoring microservicesWorking experience on CI/CD using Jenkins/AWS Code pipelineDemonstrated experience in developing full stack solutions using NodeJSFundamentals in OO and computer science foundation principles
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience is a plus
Compensation: 75-90/hr on w2 plus benefits. This is the targeted compensation range for this role. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location.
