Role overview
As the second NLP specialist at Intelligent Legal Solutions (ILS) Limited, you will build production-grade document intelligence systems. You will develop entity extraction, classification, and RAG architectures using Python and C# to automate high-stakes legal workflows. This build-focused role offers significant ownership over the NLP pipeline powering our flagship ProVision platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy production-ready NLP services for document parsing, entity extraction, and classification of unstructured legal text.
- Build and maintain scalable retrieval workflows and RAG architectures using PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, and vector search technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate NLP capabilities into the ProVision platform using Python/Django and C#/.NET components.
Experience and qualifications
- Demonstrates proven experience building and shipping production NLP systems, focusing on document intelligence and information extraction rather than academic research.
- Possesses strong proficiency in Python (Django or FastAPI) and essential experience with C#/.NET to work effectively across the full technology stack.
- Has hands-on experience with modern NLP tools like spaCy, Hugging Face, or LangChain, and familiarity with AWS infrastructure such as ECS and Lambda.
