Purpose of Position
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator advances HALX’s mission through strategic marketing, public relations, digital communications, data-informed reporting, and meaningful community partnerships that expand visibility, strengthen the HALX brand, and support leasing, fundraising, and organizational goals.
The ideal candidate is an outgoing, proactive, and organized team member who is comfortable taking an idea from concept to execution and who brings energy and curiosity to finding new and better ways to achieve HALX’s goals. They are confident representing the organization in public, creating content across digital platforms, and using emerging technology and trends to increase engagement and reach. This position reports directly to the Community Integration Team Lead.

Position Requirements
This is a full-time position requiring the team member to be locally in the DMV area and must be onsite in the Housing Alexandria corporate office a minimum of 3 full days per week. Tuesday & Thursday are mandatory to be on-site. This position requires the team member to occasionally work evenings and weekends and travel locally in the DMV area.

Salary and Benefits
Commensurate with experience. $50,000 to $60,000 annually.
