Marketing & BD Specialist (Transportation & Automotive)

Our client, a leading global Am Law firm, is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Specialist to lead its global Transportation & Logistics sector and support its Automotive & Mobility sector.

This is a highly visible opportunity partnering with global sector leadership, senior lawyers, and M&BD teams to drive business development, client engagement, market positioning, and profile-raising initiatives across these dynamic industries.

This role will be hybrid in Washington, D.C.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead M&BD strategy and annual business planning for the Transportation & Logistics sector.
• Drive pitches, RFPs, targeting, and new business development initiatives.
• Develop and execute marketing campaigns, thought leadership, events, sponsorships, and profile-raising strategies.
• Partner with senior lawyers and global M&BD teams to identify opportunities and strengthen client relationships and market presence.
• Support industry conferences, client programs, directory submissions, and strategic sector initiatives.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of M&BD experience, preferably within a leading law firm or professional services environment.
• Established knowledge of Transportation & Logistics and/or Automotive & Mobility strongly preferred.
• Strong experience across business development, pitches/RFPs, marketing campaigns, events, and thought leadership.
• Highly proactive, commercially minded, and comfortable working with senior stakeholders across global teams.
