Job Description

Lead D365 Software Engineer

The Lead D365 Software Engineer will help drive the evolution of a large-scale Microsoft business applications platform. This is an opportunity to provide technical leadership, define engineering standards, and deliver secure, scalable solutions that support key business operations and customer services.

The Role

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's Dynamics 365 and Power Platform capabilities, working closely with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. Alongside hands-on development, you will mentor engineers, influence technical strategy, and champion best practices across the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
  • Define engineering standards, governance, and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Dynamics 365, Azure, and enterprise systems.
  • Drive solution quality, security, performance, and scalability.
  • Support CI/CD, DevOps, and release management processes.
  • Mentor and guide engineering teams, fostering technical excellence.
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver business value.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, and related Microsoft technologies.
  • Expertise in developing plugins, custom workflows, APIs, and Power Platform solutions.
  • Strong C#/.NET development background.
  • Experience integrating cloud-based and enterprise applications using Azure services.
  • Knowledge of solution architecture, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development practices.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring experience.
  • Strong understanding of security, governance, and compliance within the Microsoft ecosystem.
