Job Description

We are looking for a Junior C# .NET Developer to join a growing technology team developing and supporting high-performance, real-time software systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career developer who is passionate about software development and wants to build their career working with C#, .NET and complex, high-volume systems.

You will work alongside experienced developers and gain exposure to the full software development lifecycle, contributing to systems where performance, reliability and scalability are critical.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, enhance and maintain applications using C# and .NET.

Contribute to the development of high-performance and real-time software systems.

Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code.

Work alongside senior developers to investigate and resolve technical issues.

Develop new features and functionality based on business and technical requirements.

Work with databases and SQL to retrieve and manage application data.

Participate in code reviews, testing and debugging.

Help monitor and troubleshoot production systems.

Collaborate with developers, testers and other technical teams.

Learn and apply best practices around software development, performance and system reliability.

Skills & Experience

Essential

Strong educational background - At least a 2:1 in STEM subject

Commercial experience developing with C#.

Good understanding of .NET / .NET Core.

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software development principles.

Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

A genuine interest in developing high-quality software.

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a development team.Desirable:

Experience with ASP.NET Core or Web APIs.

Knowledge of SQL Server.

Exposure to multithreading, asynchronous programming or distributed systems.

Experience with Git and modern development practices.

Understanding of performance optimisation and low-latency systems.

Exposure to automated testing and CI/CD.
