Job Description: • Leverage email technologies and design templates to create and deploy mobile-optimized
- newsletters, promotional email campaigns, and automated sequences.
- Monitor progress of National Geographic’s email campaigns (generally managing about
- 10 campaigns at a time in various stages), ensuring timely and error-free execution.
- Run A/B tests on subject lines, calls-to-action, and send times to improve performance.
- Oversee the insertion of promotional banners within newsletters.
- Refine email campaigns by editing HTML (minor editing, not full email coding).
- Manage workload, assignments, and project communication effectively via online project
- management tools.
- Follow quality assurance steps and ensure compliance of all emails ensuring proper
- rendering across devices, legal compliance, and maintaining appropriate metadata for
- tracking.
- Send email campaign proofs out for approval and request feedback/approval to various
- Stakeholder
Qualifications:• 2-3 years of professional experience working in a large corporate environment, working on high volume/tight deadlines
- Associate's degree or equivalent required (bachelor's degree preferred)
- Ability to work independently without direction, once trained.
- Strong project management skills, the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at every level in the organization, have strong attention to detail, be process-oriented, adept at multi-tasking, and able to excel in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
- Working knowledge of email marketing technology and related tools (i.e. Braze, Salesforce, Squarespace, etc.)
- Proficient with MS Office and Jira (or similar).
- Previous experience/familiarity with Photoshop, HTML Editing tools, and HTML Coding.
- Flexible with scheduling for breaking news (not regularly, but on occasion as needed)
