Job Summary

The Content

Marketing Executive – SEO & Social is responsible for creating engaging

social media content and producing search-optimised website copy that increases

reach, engagement and organic visibility. The role combines hands-on content

production with on-page SEO, including filming at trade shows and other

locations, editing photos and videos, writing social copy and optimising

landing-page content.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Content

  • Plan

and create platform-appropriate content for Würth UK's social media channels in

line with the marketing calendar.

  • Write

engaging captions, hooks, calls to action and supporting copy while maintaining

the Würth UK tone of voice.

  • Develop

ideas for short-form video, product demonstrations, event coverage, employee

content and campaign storytelling.

  • Film

and photograph content in the office, stores, at customer or partner locations

and at trade shows and events.

  • Present

on camera or confidently direct colleagues and contributors when required.

  • Edit

video and photography into polished, correctly sized assets for each social

platform.

  • Support

timely event-day and reactive content, including selecting, editing and

publishing material where appropriate.

  • Maintain

a social content calendar and organise raw footage, photography and finished

assets for future use.

  • Monitor

reach, engagement, video performance, traffic and conversions, using insight to

improve future content.

SEO and Website Content

  • Research

and write search-optimised content for landing pages, industry pages, category

pages and campaign pages.

  • Use

keyword research, search intent and customer needs to shape clear, useful and

commercially relevant copy.

  • Optimise

headings, body copy, page titles, meta descriptions, image alt text and

internal links.

  • Review

existing landing pages and recommend content updates that improve relevance,

usability and organic visibility.

  • Work

with eBusiness and relevant specialists to ensure SEO content is accurate,

technically sound and aligned with commercial priorities.

  • Track

content performance and use available search and analytics data to identify

opportunities and measure improvement.

Campaign and Stakeholder Support

  • Create

social and SEO content to support product launches, promotions, events and

customer engagement campaigns.

  • Work

closely with Category, Sales, eBusiness, Product, Design and other Marketing

colleagues.

  • Build

sufficient product and industry knowledge to turn technical subjects into

accessible, credible content.

  • Manage

multiple briefs, production schedules and deadlines while maintaining brand and

quality standards.

  • Ensure

content permissions, usage rights and approvals are obtained where required.

  • Travel

to UK trade shows, events and other locations as required; occasional early

starts or out-of-hours work may be needed for event coverage.

Working Style

This role works

collaboratively across Marketing, eBusiness, Category, Product and Sales. The

postholder will be expected to manage deadlines, maintain high standards of

accuracy and use performance insight to continually improve content.
