The Marketing Specialist helps EveryMind connect more people with the programs, services, trainings, and resources that strengthen mental wellness across our community. This role has a primary focus on executing the marketing strategy for EveryMind’s ServingTogether program, with responsibility for increasing awareness and expanding digital engagement among veterans, service members, military families, and community organizations. The position also heavily supports organization-wide marketing initiatives, including community education and mental health training programs. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, Marketing Director, program staff, and Advancement team, the Marketing Specialist combines marketing operations, digital marketing, creative content development, website management, marketing analytics, and online community engagement to grow awareness, increase participation, and strengthen EveryMind’s impact.

Occasional supervision of interns and volunteers.
Reports to Manager, Marketing and collaborates closely with the Marketing Director to execute strategic marketing initiatives and organizational priorities.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, graphic design, digital media, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
At least two years of professional experience in marketing, communications, digital engagement, or a related field, including hands-on experience with email marketing, social media, content development, website management, marketing automation, and performance reporting. Experience with HubSpot, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, WordPress, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics 4, and Google Ads is strongly preferred. Experience in nonprofit, behavioral health, healthcare, military or veteran services, human services, or a community-based organization preferred.
Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills. Strong eye for engaging content, visual storytelling, layout, and brand consistency. Proficiency with CRM tools (Hubspot preferred) and marketing automation tools. Proficiency with Canva and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud. Proficiency with Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics 4, and Google Ads. Working knowledge of WordPress content management and website updates. Experience developing and creating engaging content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms, including static graphics and short-form videos. Ability to analyze website, email, social media, and advertising data; identify meaningful trends; and translate findings into practical recommendations. Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests, deadlines, and priorities. Strong attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Zoom, and other collaboration platforms.
Effectively interact and work collaboratively in a flexible work environment with a variety of constituents including clients and family members or caretakers, interns, volunteers, paid staff, CEO, board members, and community partners. Ability to express ideas with clarity, confidence and sensitivity. Must be able to maintain confidentiality involving clients in accordance with organizational and federal guidelines.

The Marketing Coordinator is generally expected to work during EveryMind's core business hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required to support events, campaigns, trainings, or other organizational priorities.
This is a hybrid position, with regular in-office collaboration and attendance at meetings, events, and other organizational activities as needed. Employees may also be required to travel locally within the community to support EveryMind programs, outreach efforts, or events.
