Full Stack Developer - Python, AWS, TypeScript/React

Location: Leeds (hybrid, 1-2 days per month on site)

Rate: £500 per day, Inside IR35

We're looking for a Full Stack Developer to join an NHS digital transformation programme, building and improving cloud-based services. You'll work across the full stack in Python and TypeScript, deploying on AWS with infrastructure as code and modern CI/CD practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain full stack applications using Python and TypeScript

Develop and deploy services on AWS

Write and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support fast, reliable releases

Work closely with delivery, product and engineering colleagues in an agile team

Write clean, tested and well-documented code

Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement of live servicesKey Requirements

Strong commercial experience as a Full Stack Developer

Solid Python development experience

Strong TypeScript experience, front and back end

Hands-on AWS experience

Infrastructure as code using Terraform

Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

Comfortable working in agile delivery teamsDesirable

Public sector or NHS programme experience

Experience with containerisation (Docker, ECS or similar)

Understanding of GDS service standards
