Role Description

This is an as-needed, flexible in-person internship for a Social Media Content Creation Intern located near the Washington, DC area for the fall semester (with the possibility of extension). The intern will assist with on-site content creation management, filming, post-production editing, contribute to marketing strategy development, collaborate on communication initiatives, and support overall site shoots. This role is perfect for students unable to take on a larger internship, but want experience on an as-needed basis a few times per month in the social media space.

Qualifications

  • Must be actively pursuing a college degree in the United States
  • Must be located in and able to commute to Washington, DC on a bi-weekly basis for content shoot support
  • Strong communication and creative skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Interested in learning various aspects of marketing: social media, video, filming, etc.
  • Knowledge in social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and Pinterest)
  • Photography & DSLR knowledge is a bonus but not required
  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing, PR, Communications, Business, Journalism, or a related field
  • Availability for on-site work, including half-day content shoots in the greater DC area during week days and weekends (upon prior request)
  • Flexible schedule for the Fall 2026 academic year
