Senior Python Developer ETrading

Essential Skills

Expert-level Python development experience.

Strong commitment to writing clean, maintainable and testable code.

Advanced SQL knowledge and database optimisation experience.

Deep understanding of Linux environments.

Excellent knowledge of algorithms and data structures.

Proven experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineers.

Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent commercial experience.

Highly Desirable

Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) or similar testing methodologies.

Knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or Snowflake.

Experience with modern Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask or FastAPI.

Familiarity with event-streaming technologies including Apache Kafka.

Experience building data pipelines using Apache Airflow.

Exposure to Java development.
