Job Description

Calling all legal event planning professionals! As the Senior Marketing & Events Manager with this global law firm, you will serve as a strategic leader responsible for directing the full event lifecycle for high impact firmwide initiatives, ranging from marquee client gatherings to executive retreats in live and hybrid formats. Working in close partnership with firm leaders, business development teams, and cross-functional partners across Finance, IT, and Marketing, this role oversees everything from initial strategic planning, vendor contracting, and budget management to seamless on-site execution and ROI conversion analysis. The ideal candidate brings sophisticated event tech expertise and exceptional technical skills across a range of software tools to streamline operations, elevate attendee engagement, and optimize business development strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct end-to-end strategy and execution for premier client gatherings, partner retreats, and attorney summit meetings in both hybrid and live formats.
  • Operate as a trusted advisor to senior firm leadership and business development leads to align event initiatives with broader commercial goals.
  • Oversee marquee event portfolios from start to finish, managing site selection, multi-vendor contract negotiations, and seamless live logistics.
  • Mentor and lead a high-performing events team while fostering active collaboration with executive, marketing, digital, IT, and financial departments.
  • Build and steward annual event budgets, oversee financial reconciliations, and evaluate event success using targeted ROI metrics and conversion data.
  • Supervise registration infrastructure, digital content, scheduling calendars, and communication channels to deliver smooth attendee experiences.
  • Track portfolio analytics and regularly report event engagement metrics to inform ongoing firmwide growth strategies.

The salary listed reflects the anticipated compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, location, business considerations, and internal equity. Final offer amounts are determined at the employer’s discretion.
