About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Salesforce Developer with a strong background in Java development, test automation, and quality engineering to support strategic initiatives for Fannie Mae. This role will play a critical part in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Salesforce-based applications supporting Financial Crimes, Compliance & Ethics, and Regulatory Reporting functions.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with expertise across Salesforce development, automation testing, cloud technologies, and modern software engineering practices.

Location: Reston, VA

Work Model: Hybrid (3 Days Onsite)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Salesforce applications supporting compliance and regulatory initiatives.
  • Build scalable solutions using Salesforce platform technologies including Apex and Service Cloud.
  • Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Java and Selenium.
  • Perform both manual and automated testing to ensure application quality and reliability.
  • Create and optimize SQL queries for validation, reporting, and testing activities.
  • Develop automation and scripting solutions using Python.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, developers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and quality engineering best practices.
  • Utilize AWS services to support application development and testing environments.
  • Participate in code reviews, root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to innovative solutions leveraging emerging technologies, including Generative AI.

Required Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of software development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce development and administration.
  • Expertise in Apex development and Service Cloud implementations.
  • Strong Java programming experience.
  • Experience building automation frameworks using Selenium.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database querying.
  • Experience with test automation, quality engineering, and manual testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and AWS environments.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development practices.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Financial Services, Mortgage, Banking, Compliance, Risk Management, AML, or Regulatory Reporting environments.
  • Python scripting and automation experience.
  • Exposure to Generative AI technologies and use cases.
  • Salesforce Certifications are highly desirable.
