This is a hands-on delivery role where you'll work with application owners to assess, design, configure and onboard applications to Microsoft Entra ID, leveraging modern federation standards to deliver secure and scalable authentication across the organisation.
- Hybrid role with 1-2 days per week onsite in the Greater Manchester area.
- Lead the discovery and assessment of application authentication and authorisation capabilities for SSO onboarding.
- Design, configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Entra ID integrations using SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
- Identify and assess authentication methods or interfaces that bypass SSO controls.
- Validate end-to-end authentication flows, including MFA, Conditional Access and user access scenarios.
- Collaborate with application owners and stakeholders to support testing, acceptance and successful production rollout.
- Produce and maintain integration documentation, support procedures and knowledge transfer artefacts for operational teams.
Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID.
- Proven track record delivering enterprise application SSO integrations.
- Deep understanding of SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
- Experience implementing and supporting MFA and Conditional Access policies.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- SC-300 certification desirable.
