Senior Full Stack Engineer-Hybrid -Reston VA
Location : Reston, VA 20190 | Hybrid (2-3days/week at client site)
Duration : 4 months
Pay-rate : $45-50/hr on W2
Position Summary-
Job Title - Senior Full Stack Engineer (.Net Platform)
Job Description/Responsibilities
- Design and develop features across an ASP.NET MVC / Web API application using C#, Razor views, and Dev Express UI components.
- Build and maintain SQL Server database objects (schemas, stored procedures, views) supporting complex financial aid packaging and reporting logic.
- Implement and maintain integrations with federal financial aid systems, including file generation and processing (CSV, XML, Flat files etc).
- Author and maintain deployment automation using PowerShell, AWS Cloud Formation, and InstallShield installers for both cloud and on-premises environments.
- Ensure accessibility and compliance across web UI components.
- Optimize application performance, implement automated testing using Playwright, and ensure technical feasibility and code quality through reviews
- Write and maintain automated unit tests, integration tests and support CI/CD build and release processes (code signing, versioning).
- Collaborate with product, QA, and support teams; participate in code reviews and uphold secure coding practices
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance to junior developers, and drive the adoption of best practices and new technologies
- Solve complex problems using divergent thinking resulting in innovative solutions
- Follow DevOps best practices including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practice of rapidly implementing, testing, and delivering high-quality code
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our customer’s business processes and operations
- Lead and contribute to Agile ceremonies, from sprint planning to daily stand-ups, to help your team align, deliver, and continuously improve.
