A well-established and rapidly expanding global fintech business is bringing on a Senior C++ Engineer to accelerate a core greenfield build.

The company’s underlying mission is financial inclusion—building modern payment technologies that provide vital financial services and enable life-changing payments to underprivileged and underbanked populations around the world.

This contract provides a rare mix of pure greenfield development, hard technical problems at scale, and real-world purpose. You’ll join a lean, highly capable core engineering team where your work will have high visibility and immediate impact. With minimal red tape, quick decision-making, and high trust, you can focus purely on doing what you do best: architecting and shipping clean, resilient, high-concurrency software.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect & Build: Design, implement, and maintain high-throughput, low-latency C++ applications that power critical international payment flows.
• Ship Greenfield Code: Drive new backend capabilities across C++, Golang, PHP, and HTML to expand financial accessibility into new emerging markets.
• End-to-End Delivery: Take full technical ownership of complex features from design and multi-threaded implementation through to testing and deployment.
• Collaborate at Scale: Work closely alongside senior developers, support engineers, and global technology partners to ensure reliability and performance.

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of battle-tested software engineering experience in production C++ environments.
• Deep technical depth in multi-threaded programming and high-concurrency systems architecture.
• Strong mastery of REST API design principles and microservices integration.
• Solid hands-on experience with relational databases and writing performance-tuned SQL.

• Location: 100% Fully Remote.
• Rate: Highly competitive daily rate (DOE).
