This role involves collaborating closely with the engineering team to enhance functionality, define security requirements, and prepare the application for production release.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the clients engineering team to advance an internally developed security application built on React and PostgreSQLContribute to full stack development, enhancing frontend and backend functionalityAssist in driving the application through CI/CD pipelines, ensuring secure and efficient deployment processesDefine and document security requirements, controls, and phased rollout strategiesProvide senior-level security engineering guidance across design, development, and deployment discussionsreputed company and support application testing, validation, and security reviewsIdentify and remediate application vulnerabilities and security gapsSupport feature enhancements and code development aligned with project timelinesPartner with engineering teams to ensure best practices in secure application developmentSkills5–8+ years of experience in full stack development with a strong security focusProven expertise with: Full stack application development (API design, backend services)Proven expertise with: PostgreSQL (database design and management)Proven expertise with: React (frontend development)Hands-on experience integrating or supporting CI/CD pipelinesStrong understanding of: Application security principles (OWASP, vulnerability management, etc.)Strong understanding of: Secure coding practicesExperience working in cross-functional engineering and security teamsAbility to translate security
