The developer will work within an Agile Scrum environment and collaborate closely with government leadership, stakeholders, and technical teams. This is a pipeline position.

Responsibilities

Reporting & Dashboard Development

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Qlik Sense and Qlik Cloud dashboards, reports, and data models aligned with requirements.
  • Translate requirements documented in Jira into scalable, secure, and maintainable analytics solutions.
  • Modernize existing WebFOCUS reports and dashboards by migrating functionality to Qlik platforms while ensuring consistent data outputs.
  • Support the WebFOCUS portal modernization efforts by converting detailed operational reports into visualizations with drill-down capability.

Data Analysis & Modeling

  • Analyze source databases (Oracle, SQL Server) to develop optimized data models for use within Qlik applications.
  • Build efficient load scripts and reusable components to streamline development and reduce redundancy.
  • Participate in development of new or updated data marts and support data quality checks.

Operations & Maintenance (O&M)

  • Provide ongoing support for business applications, performing problem resolution, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Assist in migrating and integrating analytics components between development, test, and production environments using the approved SDLC.
  • Maintain Qlik environment performance through monitoring, optimization, and efficient data workflows.

Geospatial Mapping Support

  • Support the integration of ESRI-based geospatial mapping solutions with Qlik dashboards.
  • Maintain polygon layers and update geospatial datasets based on organizational structures.
  • Ensure interactive mapping features (map-to-report and report-to-map parameter passing) remain functional during Qlik migration.

Collaboration & Documentation

  • Work with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and developers to gather business requirements.
  • Document system designs, technical specifications, test plans, and user guidance.
  • Provide support to program offices and end users adopting new Qlik-based solutions.

Qualifications

  • Active U.S. Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience developing with QlikView, Qlik Sense, or Qlik Cloud.
  • Strong SQL and PL/SQL experience (5+ years).
  • Experience with data warehousing, ETL concepts, and analytics platform transitions.
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies.
  • Ability to create secure data models and apply Qlik security (Section Access, Set Analysis).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of ESRI mapping technologies is a plus.
  • Any clearance requirements for this position are established by the government contract.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting federal reporting systems or DoW environments.
  • Experience transitioning BI platforms (e.g., WebFOCUS to Qlik).
  • Experience with NPrinting or automated report distribution tools.

“This position is contingent upon contract award and funding. Applicants selected may be offered but cannot begin work until funding has been confirmed.”
