PL/SQL Developer

Synapri are looking for an experienced PL/SQL Developer with strong IBM DataStage ETL expertise to join a high-performing technology team delivering strategic data and regulatory initiatives within a complex financial services environment. You will be responsible for developing, enhancing and supporting enterprise-scale data integration solutions while working closely with cross functional teams.

Location: Hybrid, London

Rate: Inside IR35

Duration: Initial 6 month

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers and database objects
• Build, enhance and support IBM DataStage ETL solutions
• Develop data integration and transformation processes across multiple systems
• Perform SQL and ETL performance tuning and optimisation
• Support data quality, reconciliation and production activities
• Investigate and resolve technical and production issues
• Participate in code reviews, releases and deployment

Essential Skills

• Strong hands-on Oracle PL/SQL development experience
• Proven IBM DataStage ETL experience
• Experience designing and supporting complex data integration solutions
• Advanced SQL and performance tuning skills
• Strong understanding of ETL and data warehousing principles
• Experience working with large datasets in enterprise environments
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
