Job Description

Marketing Manager

£40,000–£45,000 | Monday–Friday

Are you an experienced marketer who enjoys taking a brand from an idea or opportunity through to real-world results?

Our client is looking for a Marketing Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of established and growing brands, helping define where they go next and how they connect with their customers. You’ll be involved in everything from identifying opportunities and shaping plans through to bringing launches and campaigns to market, while working closely with creative, commercial and external partners.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in turning business objectives and customer insight into effective marketing activity. This will include:

Setting priorities and developing plans that support the wider growth of the brand portfolio.

Finding new ways to strengthen the brands’ presence and relevance within their markets.

Taking ownership of go-to-market activity for new products and initiatives.

Turning customer and market insight into clear marketing ideas and activity.

Collaborate with internal departments to develop campaigns and content from initial concept through to delivery.

Coordinating with agencies, partners, suppliers and other external stakeholders.

Supporting the brands at relevant exhibitions, events and industry activity.

Reviewing results and market feedback to identify opportunities for future activity.

Supporting and developing a direct report, helping them grow their skills and confidence. About you:

We’re looking for someone who understands how to build a brand and how to turn marketing activity into commercial results.

You’ll ideally have

Previous experience in a brand, product or consumer marketing environment.

The confidence to take ownership rather than simply manage tasks handed to you.

Strong commercial judgement and an understanding of what drives sustainable brand growth.

A natural curiosity about customers, competitors and emerging opportunities.

Experience taking marketing projects from planning through to execution.

The ability to work comfortably with creative teams and external stakeholders
