Marketing & Communications Lead (part-time)

Role Description The Marketing & Communications Lead is a part-time, hybrid role based in Oxford, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week. This position is responsible for planning and delivering Elmore’s marketing and communications activities to increase awareness of services, strengthen community engagement, and support fundraising and partnership work. Day-to-day tasks include developing and implementing marketing strategies, creating content for digital and print channels, managing social media and website updates, and producing newsletters, case studies, and impact stories. The role involves conducting market research, monitoring audience engagement, liaising with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging, and supporting outreach campaigns and events. The Lead will also help maintain brand standards, evaluate campaign performance, and provide regular reports to leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
• Develope and implement marketing & communications plans, ensuring activities support the charities objectives.
• Lead the charities digitial communications, including website management, social media, email marketing and digital content.
• The ability to support fundraising, partnership development, or service promotion.
• Relationship skills to engage compassionately with service users, partners, donors, and the wider community.
• Experience in the nonprofit, social care, or community sector is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively within a small, multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with social media platforms, basic design tools, and website content management systems is an advantage.
• Relevant education or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.
