Java Software Developer

Security Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP)

Develop powerful APIs, optimize backend SQL databases, and integrate modern AWS technologies while building mission-critical software solutions.

In this role, you'll work across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), using modern web development technologies and programming languages to build robust client-side and server-side applications. You'll design seamless integrations, develop intuitive user experiences, and transform complex technical requirements into scalable, high-impact solutions.

Required Skills

• Core Programming: Strong software development experience using Java and JavaScript.
• Operating Environment: Proven experience developing and working in Linux environments.
• Full-Stack Development: Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including front-end, back-end, client-side, and server-side development.
• Development Tools: Experience using Git for version control and SQL for database development and querying.
• Integration & Architecture: Experience with API development, system integrations, and UI/UX principles.
• Modern JavaScript Frameworks: Experience with or exposure to Angular, React.js, or Vue.js.
• Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with AWS services, Python, and Microsoft C# to support diverse application architectures.

Experience Requirements

Mid-Level

• 7+ years of experience with a technical degree, or
• 11+ years of experience without a technical degree.

Senior Level

• 14+ years of experience with a technical degree, or
• 18+ years of experience without a technical degree.

Principal Level

• 20+ years of experience with a technical degree, or
• 24+ years of experience without a technical degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MongoDB, Spring, and OSGi.
• Familiarity with Perl, Lua, and configuring or managing NGINX.
• Experience with automation or workflow acceleration frameworks such as Empower.

Position Details

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) is required.
• Positions are 100% onsite.
• Most opportunities are located in the Maryland area, including Columbia, Annapolis, Annapolis Junction, and Fort Meade.
• Due to security requirements, all work must be performed at the designated worksite. Remote work is not available.
