Java/J2EE Developer - W2 Contract

Title: Java/J2EE Professional

Location: McLean, VA – 100% Onsite, 5 days/week (Monday–Friday)

Contract: W2

Interview: In-person – Local candidates only

Duration: 12 months contract, possible extension

Experience : 12+ Years

Required Technical Skills

2+ years of hands-on software development experience

Strong Full Stack Development experience with

Java / J2EE

JavaScript

React

Angular

Python

Strong experience with AWS / Cloud technologies

Experience with CI/CD pipelines

Jenkins

Bitbucket Pipelines

Ping / Single Sign-On (SSO)

REST APIs

Cloudflare / CDN technologies

New Relic or similar website/application monitoring tools

Strong understanding of

DNS

TLS/SSL certificates

Caching strategies

Experience with GenAI development tools, specifically Kiro and Amazon Q.

Preferred / Desired

Experience with enterprise web content management platforms such as Acquia, Sitecore, Drupal, or similar

Knowledge management and content-management tools

Experience working with marketing, HR, legal, and compliance teams

Experience coordinating dependencies with vendors and internal engineering teams

Ability to analyze system architecture and contribute to design planning

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline, or equivalent education/training/experience.

Advanced degree/studies preferred.
