Job Description

Queens Online School is seeking a highly organised and detail‑oriented iSAMS Administrator to join our growing administrative team. This role is central to ensuring the smooth running of our Management Information System (MIS) and supporting staff, students, and parents with accurate, timely, and well‑maintained data.

Rate: £12.71 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–3:00pm, term‑time only

Start Date: Asap

Job Description

The iSAMS Administrator will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management, accuracy, and functionality of the school’s MIS. Key duties include:

  • Maintaining and updating student, staff, timetable, attendance, and safeguarding records
  • Supporting the setup and ongoing management of the Parent and Student Portals
  • Ensuring data integrity and compliance with school policies and statutory requirements
  • Providing first‑line support to staff and parents for iSAMS access, navigation, and troubleshooting
  • Coordinating with academic and pastoral teams to ensure information is accurate and up to date
  • Assisting with reporting, data exports, and analysis as required
  • Supporting term‑start and term‑end administrative processes, including timetable rollovers
  • Liaising with the Digital Systems Lead and senior leadership on system improvements and workflow optimisation

Person Specification

Essential

  • Previous experience using iSAMS or another school MIS
  • Strong administrative experience, ideally within a school or educational setting
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Confidence using digital systems, databases, and MIS platforms
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Clear, professional communication skills
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused approach
  • Confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism at all times

Desirable

  • Understanding of online or hybrid schooling environments
  • Experience supporting staff or parents with digital platforms
  • Familiarity with safeguarding, attendance, or timetable workflows
  • Ability to produce reports and analyse data
  • A willingness to contribute to wider administrative development within the school

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
