Golang Developer

Requirements

Must have

- Proven experience in a type-safe language, with Golang highly preferred - Hands-on experience with backend microservices, REST APIs, and message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ - Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum team and delivering automated, thoroughly tested code to production - Strong understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) is preferred - Exposure to Docker, Postgres, gRPC, GraphQL, and Git is preferred - Experience with Jenkins, Jira/Rally, or SVN is preferred - Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

We are recruiting for a permanent Golang Developer role based in Burgess Hill, UK, with a hybrid working model of 3 days per week in the office. This is an urgent vacancy offering a salary of 50K to 55K GBP per annum. We are building and enhancing backend microservices for a global Loyalty and Benefits platform, and the role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative Scrum team, focus on the Account domain, and help shape engineering practices across the wider platform.
