JAVA, JEE Application Developers
Systemania Corporation is looking for 8 Java developers for a CLIENT in Alexandria, VA.
- Length of contract: 2 years+
- Location(s): Alexandria, VA
- Type: Contract – corp to corp / 1099. No benefits
- Must have: US CITIZENSHIP – NO EXCEPTIONS
- Experience Required: Java, JEE
Duties
- Design and implement JEE software applications in WebSphere Application Server.
- Use modern software engineering tools including Eclipse, Rational Application Developer (RAD), WebSphere Integration Developer (WID), and Mercury QualityCenter for design, development, and testing the software.
- Work with users in an Agile development approach to understand requirements, then elicit feedback and refine solution through demonstrations.
- Present the solution at formal and informal design reviews, and document the design according to the Government’s system lifecycle methodology.

- Experience designing and delivering complex, highly-scalable software components
Desired knowledge and experience includes
- Developing 100% automating unit tests
- Using the Rational Application Developer (RAD) / WebSphere Integration Developer (WID) IDEs
- Agile development approach
- Good communication skills (writing and presenting)
- Team leadership skills including task planning, assignment and management
Education
- A Bachelor’s in Computer Sciences, Engineering, Physical Sciences or related field with applicable experience is required. Applicable work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
