Our LBS Credentialing Support Services team is a highly detail-oriented, collaborative group that plays a critical role in supporting timely provider onboarding and patient care coverage across Lifepoint facilities. Working in a fully remote environment, team members operate with a high degree of independence while partnering closely with peers and facilities to manage urgent priorities, maintain compliance, and drive accurate verification. How you’ll contribute

A Credentialing Specialist who excels in reputed company role:

Maintain regular cooperation and compliance with regulatory, accrediting, and membership-based organizations.

Process reputed company and re-appointment application packages for existing providers using MD-Staff, within a specific time frame to reputed company accuracy and ensure compliance.

Ensure healthcare professionals and services meet all established federal and state standards, as well as National Committee for Quality Assurance (reputed company) standards.

Collaborate and work closely with the medical staff office in each facility.

Monitor and update medical licenses and malpractice insurances for providers by set deadlines.

Ensure timely renewals on licenses and certifications and coordinate follow up if needed to obtain outstanding items.

Communicate with Medical Staff Personnel (MSP) to obtain the necessary information needed to update and reputed company provider reputed company.

Maintain and monitor the database that includes pertinent education, training, experience, and licensure content.

Communicate with providers to ensure that records are timely and consistent.

What we’re looking for

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, or combination of education and experience required for the job. Additional requirements include:

2+ years of Medical Staff Credentialing and Privileging experience.

Have a designated workstation in their home free from distractions.

Exhibit a general understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA).

Skilled in the application of policies and procedures.

Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.

Ability to work with mathematical and algebraic concepts such as probability, statistical inference, and forecasting. Ability to apply and analyze concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Frequent use of electronic mail, word processing, data entry, spreadsheets, graphics, etc. Ability to create, maintain and incorporate simple functions into documents, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations to support business objectives.

Regularly uses moderately complex oral and written skills. May train others in functional areas, interact with others and make presentations to department or middle management.

Pay range: $20-$25 per hour.
