The Opportunity

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading international telecommunications organisation seeking an experienced Brand Strategy & Licensing Manager to join its Global Brand function.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping, protecting and developing a globally recognised brand across multiple international markets, with a particular focus on Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Working closely with senior leadership teams, you will support the delivery of international brand strategy, manage complex rebranding and brand transition programmes, and oversee brand licensing activities across multiple territories.

The position offers significant international exposure, strategic influence and the opportunity to collaborate with senior stakeholders across a complex global organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Development

  • Support the development and implementation of international brand strategies across European, Middle Eastern and African markets.
  • Ensure brand consistency, positioning and integrity across different markets and customer touchpoints.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and wider economic, technological and cultural developments to inform strategic brand decisions.
  • Support brand expansion into new markets, territories and business areas.

International Rebranding & Brand Transitions

  • Coordinate complex international rebranding programmes, working closely with local market teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic and operational guidance throughout brand launches, transitions and migrations.
  • Manage cross-functional project activities involving marketing, communications, legal, finance, IT and customer experience teams.
  • Support project governance, budget planning, implementation and post-launch reviews.
  • Oversee brand extraction projects where existing brands are transitioned or withdrawn from particular markets.

Brand Licensing & Governance

  • Support the management and negotiation of international Brand Licence Agreements.
  • Work alongside legal teams to ensure compliance with contractual brand obligations.
  • Manage relationships with brand licensees, providing guidance on brand standards, performance and governance.
  • Support negotiations relating to licensing arrangements, brand transitions and extraction agreements.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong working relationships with senior international stakeholders, including CEOs, CMOs and regional leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with global and local teams to ensure the successful delivery of strategic brand initiatives.
  • Influence decisions across complex, cross-functional and multicultural environments.
  • Provide expert brand advice and recommendations to senior leadership.

About You

We are looking for an experienced brand professional who combines strategic thinking with strong project delivery and stakeholder management capabilities.

Essential experience and skills

  • Significant experience in brand management, brand strategy or international brand development.
  • Proven experience delivering complex rebranding, brand transformation or brand transition projects.
  • Strong project management skills, ideally gained within a large, international organisation.
  • Understanding of brand licensing, governance and contractual arrangements.
  • Ability to engage, influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders.
  • Commercial awareness, with an understanding of marketing, legal and financial considerations.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working across international markets and multicultural teams.
  • Fluent English and French – both mandatory. Additional languages would be advantageous.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

This is a unique opportunity to work within a high-profile global brand environment, contributing to strategic initiatives with genuine international impact.

You will have the opportunity to influence brand development across multiple territories, work closely with senior decision-makers and lead complex, business-critical brand programmes.

Interested?

If you have a strong background in international brand strategy, rebranding and licensing, and are fluent in both English and French, we would welcome your application.
