What you'll be doing

- Building APIs and distributed systems used across a global engineering organisation.
- Translating complex problems into clear system designs and production‑ready code.
- Improving reliability, performance and observability across distributed environments.
- Collaborating with engineering teams to remove friction and enhance developer productivity.
- Influencing technical direction across backend systems and shared components.
- Owning solutions end‑to‑end within a small, autonomous, engineering‑led team
What you bring
- Strong backend engineering in Java, Kotlin, Node.js or Python.
- Experience building APIs and distributed systems at scale.
- Ability to independently deliver system design, architectural decisions and end‑to‑end solutions.
