Android Platform Software Engineer

The Opportunity

We're supporting an engineering company developing advanced embedded technology for safety-critical applications. They're looking for an Android Platform Software Engineer to develop and optimise low-level Android and Linux software, working on high-performance embedded systems from platform development through to integration and testing.

What You'll Bring

• Strong C++ and embedded Linux development experience.
• Good understanding of Android internals and platform architecture.
• Experience with Linux kernel development and performance optimisation.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Binder, AIDL, JNI, NDK, Framework APIs or SELinux.
• Experience with debugging, profiling and software quality tools.
